Vocal Sound and Spirit Gathering! We meet the first Sunday of each month at the Expressive Arts Center, 3:30-5 PM This is a "closed" group. You must be invited by a current participant. Next meeting - April 11, 3:30 PM
Focus on toning, mantra, and cross-cultural chant and melody. Bring a shruti or harmonium if you have one. All are welcome - no prior experience necessary but you must reserve in advance.

O Let's Make Music! Family Song, Rhythm, & Movement Classes (8 weeks)
Thursday, 10 AM, May 6 through June 24 $80, first child and parent. Free CD with songs for entire semester included in tuition.
After School O Let's Make Music (Ages 5-8) Six Weeks, 4:30-5:30 PM Tuesdays
$90 for single child, sibling discounts available. POSTPONED
Multi-cultural songs, guided structured movement as well as improvisational, introduction to basic music concepts of rhythm and notes, introduction to playing mountain dulcimer, percussion instruments including boomwhackers,
resonator bells (mini-xylophone type instrument), and drums of various types, singing in rounds, and using props with music (parachutes, large group stretchy band, puppets). Each week will be somewhat different.
Family or Day Care Celebrations
An opportunity to share songs (traditional, contemporary, mixed ethnic, favorite family standards, and some original tunes) for mixed ages, intergenerational. Stories and art projects may be incorporated if scheduling permits. A large variety of instruments and props will be utilized, such as, boomwhackers, parachutes, bath scrunchy "snowballs," scarves, puppets, ribbon streamers, rolling balls, ElastaBlast, and squeakies.
Sing-A-Longs for Seniors - Upbeat tunes and ballads from yesteryear (classic oldies, 30's and 40's, 50s and 60s) spanning several styles from minstrel, bluesy, easy listening, country, folk, spirituals, and pop, accompanied on guitar, banjitar, or mountain dulcimer. Participants have fun recalling who, when and where and singing is good exercise for the lungs, diaphragm, and vocal cords. Song sheets are provided in large print.
